Adelaide Fringe:10 Minutes to Midnight tix on sale
The 10 Minutes to Midnight showcase sits at the creative junction between historical fact, eye-witness testimony and artistic interpretation, responding to the slow public reveal and long-term legacies arising from the British run atomic experiments at Emu Field and Maralinga, South Australia and Monte Bello, Western Australia during the 1950s and 60s.
Created by a team of Award winning artists the showcase is the culmination of collaboration between creative artists and representatives from Australian atomic survivor communities. It celebrates the pursuit of recognition and justice, through the sharing of stories for the benefit of future generations. Of local relevance is the Portrait of a Whistleblower exhibition about Maralinga nuclear veteran and whistleblower Avon Hudson, combining contemporary photomedia by Jessie Boylan with Avon’s private archival materials.
Showcase times:
Friday & Saturday 13-14th February 7 – 9pm
Saturday matinee 14th February 4 – 6pm
