2014 Creative Arts Pop-ups
Thanks to the support of a number of South Australian partners, including young people from the Wakefield Region, a cohort of nationally acclaimed artists will visit Balaklava, South Australia, to work with interested community participants through a series of creative arts pop-ups throughout 2014. The pop-up series will create opportunities for local skills development and collaboration and relates to wider cultural development in the Wakefield Region. Interested groups have the opportunity to work with the artists in a variety of ways, on themes and creative practices of interest to participants.
The Creative Arts Pop-Ups will link with a community-based performance with multi-media elements planned for 2015, as well as the script development process led by John Romeril.
